Priority #2: Roads & Transportation

The Kenai Peninsula relies of safe roads for our families and businesses. Whether during a snowstorm in the dead of winter or the middle of the red run, dangerous roads put our families lives at risk. We must prioritize safe roads.

Jesse Bjorkman also supports building our roads to a higher quality standard so that we do not have to rebuild them as often. Highway infrastructure is a huge investment and we must make sure every tax dollar invested pays for quality work and roads built to last.

Roads are the arteries and veins of our economy and they must be well maintained, plowed and graded year round.

We must reduce middle management within the Department of Transportation and maximize service to Alaskans.
